The crowns mentioned in the Bible (Part 1)

06 Elders Casting CrownsThere are 5 crowns mentioned in the Bible that can be given to the children of God.
The Incorruptible Crown

1 Corinthians 9:24-25 ‘Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.’

This is also called the imperishable crown.  This crown is given to believers who faithfully run the race, who crucify every selfish desire in the flesh and point men to Jesus.
The Crown of Rejoicing

1 Thessalonians 2:19- 20 ‘For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when he comes? Is it not you? Indeed, you are our glory and joy.’
Daniel 12:3 ‘those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.’

To those who faithfully are witnesses to the saving grace of God and leads souls to Jesus.
The Crown of Life

James 1:12 ‘Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love Him.’

For those believers who endure trials, tribulations, and severe suffering, even to the point of death.

Revelation 2:10 ‘But if you remain faithful even when facing death, I will give you the crown of life.’
