The presence of God

12003245_10153184125586313_5966837609877978987_nThis is the most important aspect.  If we do not know the presence of God in our lives, any progress will seem meaningless.

1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me.”

We never ‘move on’ from the presence of God.

Exodus 33:15 For Moses had said, “If You aren’t going with us, don’t let us move a step from this place.”

The presence of God needs to be the central theme of our lives!

1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!”

There are so many evils we have to contend with in life.  We face many temptations in life. It is only with God’s help that we can stay away from the evil that would like to take hold of us.  We can ask God to preserve us from evil.  In the process we will not be hurt and we will not be a source of hurt to others.
