God has the miracle that you need

DW23JUN16

2 Kings 4:6 “Bring me another jar,” she said to her sons. “There aren’t any more!” they told her. And then the oil stopped flowing!

The oil is a picture of the Holy Spirit. The oil of the anointing and the presence of God in our lives will start flowing as we give ourselves to God and it will stop flowing when there is no more space in our lives.  Don’t ever let the oil stop flowing.   Don’t stop giving Him your life and the containers of your life, no matter how broken, shallow, rusted or ruined they may be.  When we run out of place for God in our lives the oil WILL stop flowing.   Keep on presenting God with your life. Keep on giving yourself to God.
God had what this lady needed. God has what you need.

2 Kings 4:7 When she told the prophet what had happened, he said to her, “Go and sell the oil and pay your debt, and there will be enough money left for you and your sons to live on!”

In the process all their lives were changed.   It was at this stage that the miracle went public.  They had to go out and sell the oil and in the process people would have discovered that they had a supply of oil.  Now the debts could be paid.  Now there could be provision.  But the miracle had stopped and they now lived on stored provision.  I never want to live on stored provision alone.  I want to live in the constant flow of the oil of God and His precious Holy Spirit in my life.   I never want the oil to stop flowing.   God, I pray, that You will keep on flowing in my life!

  1. Wow, thank you Pastor Andrew. What an awesome life changing message. I want to throw all the doors in my life wide open and chuck some things out to make some extra space. I also want to keep that oil flowing into my life.

    Best blessings
    Christine
