Luke 21:26-27 Men will faint from terror/fear, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud.
Try and picture the scene… Things are changing, things that never moved are moving. This will be a time of widespread fear. In the midst of all this fear, Jesus will arrive.
We can expect that fear will become a major issue as we approach end times, and not just in our country, but all over the world.
However, there is no need to fear when God is near. God and fear cannot co-exist.
1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear.
When God is near to us, fear has to leave. God wants to be with us so that we do not need to fear.
Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
God wants to be our source of strength. We can feel confident in God.
