Being filled with the Holy Spirit

The BAPTISM in the Holy Spirit is the first infilling or empowering.

The early Church was filled with the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost and then filled again a little later on.
Acts 2:4 “And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”
Acts 4:31 “And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.”
The Bible encourages us to KEEP ON BEING FILLED with the Holy Spirit!

Ephesians 5:18-19 “And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit,[the Greek tense literally means, “keep on being filled] speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord”

One commentator said, “There is one baptism and many fillings!”
In these days when God is pouring out His Holy Spirit we should come again         and again to be filled.
