Don't give up

2 Corinthians 4:8 We are pressed on every side by troubles, but not crushed and broken. We are perplexed because we don’t know why things happen as they do, but we don’t give up and quit. (Living Bible)

In this scripture the Apostle Paul gives us a little advice on what to do when things do not make sense. This is what he says; ‘BUT WE DON’T GIVE UP AND QUIT.’
When we are in such times in our lives we may be tempted to give up and throw in the towel.  But this is the very thing we must not do.  When things do not make sense we must keep on holding on!  What we need to do when we face things that do not make sense, is to be determined that we will not give up and we will keep holding on.

Hebrews 10:35 Do not let this happy trust in the Lord die away, no matter what happens. Remember your reward!

You need to keep on patiently doing God’s will if you want him to do for you all that he has promised.  Again we see a bit of advice as to how we should live during times like these:
1. We must not give up our trust in God – no matter what happens!
2. Keep on doing what God wants you to do.
3. Expect Him to do what He has promised.
