Change is an inevitable part of life. Change is something we confronted with on a regular basis. One thing that we can be sure of is constant change. Some people battle with change and others seem to be able to take change in their stride. On certain occasions change is voluntary and on other occasions change is beyond our control. Both positive and negative change can bring with it many issues that we need to deal with. In all the changes we may face, it is so essential that we know that God is with us!
In the midst of all the change we face in life, one of the most reassuring things is to know that God’s hand is on us and that He is leading us. God wants to lead us each step of the way, through every aspect of change that we have to face. The psalmist David understood this.
Psalm 23:1-3 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, He restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Notice the two things that God does for David.
1. He leads him.
2. He guides him.
Today, God wants to be involved in our lives to help us and lead and guide us through that changes we may have to face.
