God works in different ways. Ways that we would consider foolish, He looks for. Sometimes we do not worship because we are facing problems and troubles that are our first priority. Worship sets the stage for victory. If you are trusting the Lord for some aspect of your life, it may be time to begin worshiping and praising God.
2 Chronicles 20:21-22 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever. And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.
Worship is a vital part of our Christian lives. Don’t allow anything or anybody to discourage you as you worship God.
Luke 19:37-40 When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen: “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!” “I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”
Notice the spontaneous element. The crowd spontaneously began to praise God!
