Placing our trust in God

The stormy cloudsThere are times when we can remember. Times when we can look back and remind ourselves of how great God is. Remind ourselves of what God has seen us through in the past so that we can remind ourselves that He will see us through the future, whatever it may hold.

Isaiah 46:9 Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me.

God is able to see you through whatever you may be facing.  God has brought you to this point and He will carry you in the days and weeks that lie ahead.
This is a step we need to take: consciously shifting our trust and placing it in God.

Psalm 20:7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.

Because of the way in which God has helped us in the past we can trust for the future.

Psalm 77:10 I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember Your miracles of long ago.

I remember an old song: ‘He’s got the whole world in His hand’. We need to move towards this point where we remember that God is still in control and He will see us through.
