Moving with the cloud of God

Numbers 9:21 Sometimes the cloud stayed only from evening till morning, and when it lifted in the morning, they set out. Whether by day or by night, whenever the cloud lifted, they set out.

God was in control of the cloud. It was a case of move or have trouble and be left behind.  We must be careful and move with God.  We need to endeavour to hear the voice of God and do it!  Be where God has sent you.  Moving can be at day or night. At a moments notice.  We need to be ready to move. Instant obedience.  Moving with God involves God’s timing and not always ours.
As we begin to move with the cloud of God many things can happen. Perhaps one of the greatest is that when we are following God and moving in His presence and according to His will, our enemies have no chance of overcoming us!

Numbers 10:33-35 They traveled for three days after leaving Mount Sinai, with the Ark at the front of the column to choose a place for them to stop. It was daytime when they left, with the Cloud moving along ahead of them as they began their march. As the Ark was carried forward, Moses cried out, “Arise, O Lord, and scatter Your enemies; let them flee before You.”

When we begin to move with the cloud the enemies will be scattered. It reminds me of an old song we used to sing: ‘Let God arise and His enemies be scattered.’
