REASON TO FIND YOUR PEACE AGAIN…
1. MORNING IS COMING.
Yes, we do go through the issues and challenges of life, but God does not just leave us there in the sinking sand of life, He comes to lift us up. You may be going through a difficult time, you may be facing things you never thought you would ever have to face in your life. But even the longest night eventually gives way to the glory and joy of a new day. Every tough time and every struggle has an expiry date. There comes a time when things will turn and change for the better.
Psalm 30:5b‘Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.’
2. THERE IS MORE TO THE STORY.
Your story is not over yet – God has not finished with you yet. There will be another chapter and some chapters after that. Your test will become your testimony, your struggle will become your stepping stone, and your challenge will become your chance for a new beginning. The Lord will step in at just the right time and turn things around.
Isaiah 35:4Say to those with anxious hearts: ‘Be strong, do not fear!’ Behold, your God will come with vengeance. With divine retribution He will come to save you.’
The Lord will come and lift you up and give you a different ending.
Ecclesiastes 7:8‘The end of a matter is better than the beginning, and a patient spirit is better than a proud one.’
Isaiah 41:10b‘I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’
Psalm 42:11b‘Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Saviour and my God.’
3. LIFT UP YOUR HEAD – THERE IS STILL HOPE.
Now is the time to lift up your head and begin to believe God for His best. There is still hope for you. You are not beyond His redemption and saving power. It is not too late for Him to step in and show you His faithfulness. The morning is coming, and a new day is about to dawn for you. The fact that you are alive today is evidence that God is not finished with you yet and He still has a plan and purpose for your life. There is another chapter that must still be written. The final Word has not been spoken yet. So stand up and lift up your head today.
Luke 21:28‘…Stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.’
The Lord is with you today and He is your Keeper. He is sovereign over each one of us and has our best interests at heart. He is a mighty fortress and a strong tower and the God of second chances. He is your Heavenly Father and the God of all comfort. He has plans to give you a hope and a future. He is your restorer and your sustainer and the One Who loves and cares for you. He has faced and been through what you have been through so He understands and wants to work everything together for your good.
Hebrews 12:2‘Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, Who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.’
Trust in Him, rest in Him and come and find your peace in Him again.
