The fact that God is mighty means that God is powerful and has the power to meet your need or challenge.
Psalm 68:34 Power belongs to God! His majesty shines down on Israel; his strength is mighty in the heavens.
Jeremiah 10:6 No one is like you, O LORD; you are great, and your name is mighty in power.
2 Corinthians 13:3 Christ is not weak in his dealings with you but is a mighty power within you.
Just listen to this great wonder: ‘God is a mighty power working within you’. The issue is, will we allow God to work in His power within us? Invite Him into your life afresh today.
Because of the fact that God is mighty, you and I can place our trust in Him.
Psalm 62:7-8 My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.
He is a refuge and a strong fortress to whom we can run in our time of trouble. There is an instruction in this verse: ‘TRUST IN HIM AT ALL TIMES’. This is what we need to endeavour to do. If we admit that God is mighty and then do not trust Him, we are denying that He is mighty. We must trust Him at all times, not just in times of challenge or difficulty, but all the time.
